Graveside services for Mary Belle Stout Maxey, 100, of Lubbock will be held Saturday, September 30 2017, at 10:00 AM at the Gaines County Cemetery in Seminole. Services will be under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Seminole. She passed away Monday, September 25 in Lubbock.
Mary Belle was born January 1, 1917 in Atlanta to Marion Sherd and Dovie Lee Stout. She attended the Bible Missionary Church and had been employed by Seminole Memorial Hospital as a custodian.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, three brothers, a sister and four grandchildren.
Mary Belle is survived by three daughters: Charlene Fimbres and husband Mike, Mary Jean Maxey, and Della Ruth Goins all of Lubbock; a son James Nathan Maxey of Midland; along with eight grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 35 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
