Charla Acosta. 47 Funeral Mass for Charla Acosta, was celebrated on Monday, December 2, 2013, at 10:00 A.M. in the St. William Catholic Church with Father Heiriberto Mercado who officiated. An interment followed in the Denver City Memorial Park with services under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Denver City.

Charla died on Wednesday November 27, 2013, in Denver City,Texas. She was born January 9, 1966 in Denver City,Texas to Charlie and Cleo Aguirre Aguero.

She married Marcelo Acosta in Denver City, Texas on November 9, 1982. Charla was a retired sales clerk from Liberty Drug. She was a Catholic. Carla loved music from the 70's and was all about "peace." She loved her dogs and her grandchildren were everything to her. She was preceded in death by her sister Anita Gonzales in 2003.

She is survived by her husband, Marcelo Acosta of Denver City; two sons, Jacob and wife Rubi, and Chino both of Denver City; her parents, Charlie and Cleo Aguero of Seminole; her uncles, Paul Aguirre of Clinton Oklahoma, and Chris Aguirre of Seminole, Texas; her aunts, Ramona Fraizer of Denver City and Connie Gould of Seminole; two grandchildren, Jacob Acosta and Micaela Acosta; numerous cousins; and her close friend Carla Whitiaker.
