Funeral services for Larry C. May, 74, of Denver City, were conducted Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at 2:00 PM. in the Trinity Baptist Church with Reverend Steve Pierson officiating, assisted by Winston Cumar.
Interment followed in the Denver City Memorial Park with services under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Denver City.
Mr. May passed away Saturday, September 11, 2010 in Lubbock, Texas. He was born February 22, 1936 in Unionville, Missouri to Floyd P. and LaMere Fay May. He married Lillie Lucille Todd in Alred on June 10, 1955.
Larry was co-owner of Bruton Services for 20 years. He was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church. Larry was a mem¬ber of the Christian Motorcycle Association.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillie Lucille May on May 8, 2005; a daughter, Lysa May and a son, Steve May.
He is survived by a son, Gary May, of Artesia, N.M.; a daugh¬ter, Pam Crusan of Denver City; a daughter-in-law, Linda May of Denver City; 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Rodney Childress, Richard Jones, Nick Ford, Way Ion Trent, Steve Black and Vernon Pettyjohn. Source: Ratliff Funeral Home.
