Funeral services for Hazel Pearl Smith, 93, of Denver City, were conducted Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at 2:00 P.M in the Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jim Auld officiating. Interment followed in the Denver City Memorial Park with services under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Denver City.

Mrs. Smith passed away Sunday, February 13, 2011 in Denver City. She was born August 23, 1917 in Wyndotte, OK to Sherman and Elizabeth Blackorby. She married Glenn Smith in Kaw City, OK on January 31, 1936. Hazel was a home health care worker. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church.

Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Smith; two sons, Carl Sherman Robertson and Kenneth "Cotton" Smith; and three sisters, Thelma Ketchum, Mary Pipan and Aline Northcutt.

She is survived by her sister Rosetta Birdine of Tuttle, OK; a daughter-in-law, Lanelle Smith, of Denver City; four grandsons, one granddaughtSmith, Kenney Smith, Anthony McKinney, Stetson Patterson, William Gardner and Ryan Taylor. er, four great-grandchildren and two great-great¬grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Glenn Smith, Kenny Smith, Anthony McKinney, Stetson Patterson, William Gardner, and Ryan Taylor. Legacy.com
