DARROUZETT - Bessie B. Koch, 87, died Thursday, Oct. 8, 2009, in Perryton.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in St. Paul Lutheran Church with the Rev. Carol Weist and the Rev. John R. Chandler officiating. Burial will be in Darrouzett Cemetery by Good Samaritan Funeral Service of Booker.
On April 6, 1922, Mrs. Koch was born on the family farm in Ellis County, Okla., to James W. and Barbara Beare Horswill. She married Henry Koch on Dec. 6, 1942 in St. John Lutheran Church in Lipscomb.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Layton Koch of Crosbyton and Eldon Koch of Corpus Christi; a daughter, Lois Taylor of Amarillo; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to American Cancer Society or OGH Hospice in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 341, Booker, TX 79005.
