OBITUARY

DARROUZETT - Funeral services for Emma Meier SCHOENHALS, 69, were held on August 10 at 2 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church at Darrouzett with John Chandler, pastor, officiating, assisted by Rev. Harold Ziegler.

Burial was in the Darrouzett Cemetery under the direction of Clark Funeral Home of Beaver, Oklahoma.

She died Monday, August 3 in Golden Plains Community Hospital in Borger.

She was born April 13, 1918 in Lipscomb County, and married Herman G. MEIER on July 30, 1939 in Follett. He died October 31, 1981. She later married Sam SCHOENHALS on November 18, 1982 at Shattuck, Oklahoma.

A member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, she had been a resident of Beaver County for 40 years.

She was survived by her husband of the home; four sons, Charlie Gene MEIER of Littlefield, Tommie Ray MEIER of Laverne, Oklahoma, Herman Duane MEIER of Beaver, R. J. MEIER of Elmwood; three step-sons, Melvin SCHOENHALS of Sanford, Merlin SCHOENHALS of Ozona, Mike SCHOENHALS of Temple; one step-daughter, Shirley THOMPSON of Breckenridge; two brothers, Abe MELLER of Enid, Oklahoma, Richard MELLER of Higgins; two sisters, Lottie KOCH of Lipscomb, Carrie KOCH of Grand Junction, Colorado; six grandchildren, 12 step-grandchildren, and 14 step-great-grandchildren.
