Obituary:
Mildred Evelyn MILLER, 70, died Wednesday September 3,1986.
Services are scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 7 at 2 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church in Perryton, with Rev. Albert Lindley officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Boxwell Brothers in the Darrouzett Cemetery.
Born in Hugoton, KS on Jan. 2, 1916, Mrs. MILLER had lived in Perryton 32 years. Her husband, Alvin, died in 1963.
She was active in the Ochiltree County Senior Citizen Center, and had been employed as a Green Thumb worker for several years, and worked at the center for two years in that capacity. She was also a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda SANDERSON of Perryton, and Virginia KING of HARTNER, KS; one brother, Vernon LaFEVER, of WEllington, KS; two sisters, Viola PARTAIN of MEdford, OK, and Jewell KNISLEY of Welling, KS; and three grandchildren.
