Obituary:
Naomi Rush Mounsey, 90, of Amarillo, formerly of Booker and Darrouzett, died Tuesday, March 15, 2011.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. today in United Methodist Church in Booker with the Rev. Terry C. Lowe and the Rev. Jeff Nagell officiating. Arrangements are by Good Samaritan Funeral Service Booker.

Mrs. Mounsey was born July 12, 1920, in Logan, Okla., to David Roscoe and Audra Lee Smith Rush. She married Marion Thomas "Bus" Mounsey on March 10, 1940, in Darrouzett, where they made their home until 1945, when they moved to Booker.

Survivors include a daughter, Gloriadel Mounsey Coltart of San Mateo, Calif.; a sister, Carol I. Mowery of Apache Junction, Ariz.; a brother, Virgil D. "Buddy" Rush of Midland; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Beulah Peery Memorial Scholarship Fund of Booker; or Rickey Jergensen Memorial Scholarship Fund, in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 341, Booker, TX 79005.
