Cecil Brown, 82, of Andrews passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018 in Andrews. Cecil was born on October 19, 1935 in Hempstead County, Arkansas to Charlie Holmes Brown and Cornelia Victoria Cassel Brown. He was raised in Arkansas and Sweetwater, Texas.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1958 – 1962 during the Vietnam Conflict. He moved to Andrews in 1972 from Odessa. He had worked for Steer Tank Lines in Odessa, as a safety coordinator for Ventrcek Construction in Andrews for 14 years, and worked for the Texas Boll Weevil Eradication Foundation in Seminole. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, James, John, and Chester Brown, and sister, Agnes Boyd.
