Kenneth Dale Cummins, 75, of Andrews, Texas, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2016 in Midland, Texas. Family and friends celebrate his life September 22, 2016 at Graveside in the Andrews North Cemetery. Services are under the personal care of McNett Funeral Home.
Kenneth was born on August 29, 1941 in Electra, Texas to Willis J. and Mary Blanche Ashley Cummins. Kenneth came to Andrews with his family in 1954; he graduated from AHS in 1959.
Kenneth attended Lamar University; while at Lamar, he was drafted into the United States Marines. He served for four years with the Marines; one year of his service was in Vietnam. His duty while in the Marines was to keep the camera equipment serviced and loaded with film for fighter aircraft. Cameras, photography, and developing film became his hobby after his tour in the service.
He worked as a Technician for Amoco from 1968 until retirement in 1995. Kenneth loved taking care of and driving his Ford pick-up trucks. He was preceded in death by his parents. Kenneth is survived by two brothers, one sister, and by six nephews and one niece.
