*Obituary Dorothy Scarlett Cummins
Dorothy Scarlett Cummins, 82, of Andrews passed away Saturday, October 13, 2007 at Midland Memorial Hospital in Midland. Funeral Services will be 10:00 Tuesday, at Andrews Church of Christ. John Snider of Greenwood Church of Christ will officate. Burial will be in Andrews West Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home. Dorothy was born December 30, 1924 in Breckenridge, Texas. She married Dick Cummins November 16, 1946 in Monahans, Texas. He preceded her in death in 2006. They moved to Andrews in 1957 from Brownfield. She was a member of the Andrews Chrch of Christ. Dorothy worked for more than 10 years as a Dispatcher for the Andrews County Sherriff Department. She enjoyed music and crocheting, she also enjoyed visisting her friends and family. She is survived by One Son - Craig Cummins of Andrews, One Daughter - Scarlett Lee of Andrews. one Brother - Douglas Scarlett of Alaska; one Sister - Donna Lee Early of Snyder, Texas; two grandchildren and Three Great-Grandchildren
