Juanita Koen, 86, of Amarillo died Monday, Jan. 15, 2007.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Caradan Cemetery in Caradan. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Coulter Chapel, 8310 S. Coulter St.
Mrs. Koen was born Oct. 25, 1920, in Lubbock. She moved to Amarillo 15 years ago from San Angelo. She was a homemaker and loved quilting with the Amarillo Senior Citizens Association. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Primitive Baptist Church.
She married Clarence Koen on May 19, 1939. He preceded her in death in 1994.
Survivors include two sons, Ronal Gene Koen of Dallas and Dr. Lloyd Dean Koen of Amarillo; a sister, Betty Jo Farley of Lubbock; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity.
