Michael Todd Franks, 55, of Shallowater, Texas, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at a Lubbock hospital.
Mike was born October 31, 1957 in Midland, Texas to the late Bill and Bobbey Franks. He married Mary Fuller June 15, 1976 in Andrews. They moved to Lubbock in 1986 and have lived in Shallowater for the past ten years.
Mike loved to go camping and go fishing. He loved being outdoors and he enjoyed the time he spent officiating baseball and football games.
He is survived by, his wife, Mary Franks of Shallowater; son Michael and his wife Carly of Olathe, Kansas; his brother, Bill Franks, Jr. and his wife Patti of Kermit, Texas; grandchildren Chase, Baighlee and Saxyn Franks all of Olathe, KS; and in-laws; Joanna Wright of Abilene; John Fuller of Louisiana and Billy Fuller of Dallas, Texas.

Mary Franks, 59, of Shallowater, and formerly of Andrews, passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 in Abilene.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at a graveside service held at 10:00 AM Monday, September 25, 2017 at the Andrews North Cemetery with Pastor Kevin Davis of Lubbock officiating. Mary was born on December 14, 1957 in Tarrant County, Texas to Billy Joe and Oleta Vance Fuller. She was raised in Odessa and graduated from Andrews High School. In June 1976, she married her late husband Michael Todd Franks, in Andrews. They moved to Lubbock in 1986 from Andrews, and settled in Shallowater in 2003. She and Mike loved to spend time outdoors camping and fishing with their family. Mary will always be remembered as very kindhearted and strong willed. She is preceded in death by her husband Mike in May, 2013, brother Donald Fuller in 1981, and her sister Frankie Thrasher in 2011.
Mary is survived by her son, Michael and wife, Carly, of Olathe, Kansas, three grandchildren; Chase, Beighlee, and Saxtyn Franks of Olathe, Kansas, three siblings; John Fuller, Billy Fuller, and Joanna Smith, and brother in law, Billy Franks, Jr and wife, Patti, of Lubbock. www.mcnettfuneralhome.com
