Joe Raymond McBeth, 92, of Andrews passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 in Andrews. Joe was born on June 5, 1924 to Joe Quincy McBeth and Mary Elizabeth Earp. He was raised in Weinert, Texas and graduated from Wellman High School in 1946. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He married Lois Ruth Harris on July 30, 1949 in Brownfield.
He was a member of Second Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife on January 20, 2012, his parents, son, Buddy McBeth, 2 brothers, Ralph and Donald McBeth, 2 sisters, Mona Chambliss and Jaunice Tucker, granddaughter, Christy McBeth Hallum, and daughter in law, Betty McBeth.

Lois McBeth, 82, of Andrews passed away Friday, January 20, 2012 at Permian Regional Medical Center in Andrews.
Lois was born December 19, 1929 in Eastland County, Texas to Jacob Henry and Ruby Perilee Harris. She married Joe Raymond McBeth July 30, 1949 in Brownfield, Texas. They moved to Andrews in 1950 from Wellman, Texas.
Lois was a gifted athlete and attended Waylon Baptist College on a Basketball scholarship. She loved sports but basketball was her main love she enjoyed watching basketball and other sports events on TV. She really loved going to her grandchildren's sports events. She was very competitive and all of her family members wanted to be on her team any time they played any kind of game. She worked for Andrews Independent School District for many years.
She loved going to church and was a member of Second Baptist Church in Andrews. She also was every active in making sure that her husband's family reunion would continue to take place year after year.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Buddy McBeth, her sisters Pauline Bush; Josephine Lillie; brother Jake Harris, granddaughter Christy McBeth Hallum and daughter-in-law Betty McBeth.
She is survived by her husband, Joe McBeth of Andrews; son, Terry McBeth and his wife Sheri of Andrews; daughters Carol McBeth of Andrews; Paula Lynch and her husband Michael of Odessa; sisters, Meda Dickerson of Athens, Texas; Anna Lou Clements of Albany, OR; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
