*Obituary for T. H.
DENVER CITY -Funeral services for T.H. Grimes will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 31, at Trinity Baptist Church in Denver City with Rev. Jim Auld officiating. Interment will be in Denver City Memorial Park under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Denver City. Mr. Grimes died Friday, March 28, in Denver City.
He was born February 24, 1913, in Zephyr, Texas. He married Earline Crawford on October 19, 1935, in Brownwood. He retired from ARCO in 1978 after 30 years.
He was a member of the IOOF #68 of Denver City. He was preceded in death by a son , Jerry Grimes, in 1978, and a daughter, Sarah Trent, in 1999. Survivors include his wife, Earline, of the home; a daughter, Betty Joe Coston of Brownwood ; a daughter-in-law, Brenda Grimes of Denver City; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Source: Ratliff Funeral Home.
