Mary Noel Anderson, 82, died Saturday in Wellington. Mrs. Anderson was born in Memphis January 14, 1905. Her parents were J.W. Noel and Myrtle Estes Noel.
She graduated from Memphis High School and attended Texas Woman's College, now Texas Wesleyan College, in Ft. Worth. She taught in the Hulver Public School in Ft. Worth.
She married Frank E. Anderson December 23, 1926 at Hedley.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church and a life member of the United Methodist Women. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and of the 1924 Study Club.
She came to Wellington in 1934. She taught piano lessons for many years and belonged to the National Guild of Piano Teachers.
She is survived by her husband, Frank E. Anderson of Wellington, one daughter, Mrs. J.R. Henegar of Austin, two sisters, Martha Sue Noel and Gertrude Boatwright, both of
Amarillo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, J.W. and Myrtle Estes Noel, her granddaughter, Karen Jane Henegar, and by one sister, Alice Reeves.
