Phyllis Brewer, 62, of Andrews passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 PM at McNett Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, February 14, 2015 at City of Refuge Church in Andrews. Al Houghton of Placentia, California will officiate. Burial will be in Andrews North Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.

Phyllis was born November 8, 1952 in Dallas, Texas to Everett and Jane Edwards. She married Larry Brewer May 28, 1976 in Lubbock. She and Larry moved to Andrews in 1980 from Lubbock. Phyllis had worked as a nurse for several area hospitals and she and Larry have served as Pastors of the City of Refuge Church in Andrews for many years. Phyllis loved art and painting and she was a member of the Andrews Art Guild. She loved to fish and spend time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Brewer of Andrews, Children, Jennifer Garcia and husband Ernie of Midland; Matthew Brewer and wife Amanda Brewer of Midland; Michael Ellison and wife Deborah of Andrews; brother, Mike Edwards of Longview, sister Abbie of Grapevine; 12 grandchildren, Kade Ellison; Ky Ellison; Aimee Fisher; Emily Eaton; Kree Ellison; Robert Garcia; Kambree Ellison; Desiree Brewer; Isabella Garcia; Noah Brewer; Jude Brewer; Sloane Brewer and one great-grandchild. www.mcnettfuneralhome.com
