Obituary:
Ruby Belle Slough, 87, of Gruver died Friday, Dec. 6, 2013.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 9, 2013, in Frist Baptist Church in Gruver with the Rev. Scott Curry officiating. Burial will follow with a graveside services at 2:30 p.m. in Darrouzett Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman.
Ruby was born June 10, 1926, to Ernest and Phoebe Dennis Woodward in Dewey County, Okla. She worked as a bank teller at First National Bank in Darrouzett. She married Eugene Henry Slough.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth and wife Alice of Gruver, Larry Dean and wife JoAnna of Altus, Okla., and a sister, Evelyn Day of Perryton; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Gruver or a charity of choice.
