Charles Conrad, 83 of Midland, passed away Sunday, October 3, 2010, at Midland Memorial Hospital in Midland, Texas.

Charles was born September 22, 1927 in Earlsboro, Oklahoma to Lloyd and Marguite (Lang) Conrad. He married Lottie Mae Dyar in Texarkana, Texas on January 25, 1952. He served in the U.S. Navy. He was a Drilling Superintendant for ARCO until he retired in 1986.

Charles had many hobbies in life. He loved woodworking, remodeling and anything that involved building things. He was a fan of John Wayne Movies and an avid Dallas Cowboy Fan. Charles was very family oriented; he loved nothing more than to have his kids and grandchildren over to visit.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Marguite Conrad; sister, Virginia Duncan; brother, L.B. Conrad and one precious grandson, Dustin Max Hathcock.

He is survived by his wife, Lottie Mae Conrad, of Midland, Texas; son, Michael Conrad and his wife Patty, of Midland, Texas; Daughters, Vicki Moore and her husband Buttons, of Andrews, Texas, Cheri Hill and her husband, Richard of Midland, Texas, Ginnie Finley and her husband, Glen, of Andrews, Texas; 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren who will greatly miss him.

Lottie Conrad, 87, of Midland and formerly of Andrews, passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2018 in Midland.

Family and friend will gather to celebrate her life at a graveside service at 2:00 PM Monday, November 26, 2018 in the Andrews North Cemetery with Pastor Brant O’Connor officiating. Visitation will be 11 AM – 9 PM on Saturday, 1 – 8 PM on Sunday, and 9 AM – 12 PM on Monday at McNett Funeral Home, and the family will receive friends on Sunday from 6 – 7:30 PM at the funeral home. Lottie was born on January 25, 1931 in Linden, Texas to Thomas Watson Dyar and Annie Eunice Martin Dyar. She was raised in Daingerfield, Texas and graduated from Dangerfield High School in 1947. She married Charles Carl Conrad on January 25, 1952 in Texarkana, Texas. They moved around with his work, so they had lived in Odessa, Longview, Midkiff, Eunice, New Mexico, Monahans, and came to Andrews in 1968. After his retirement, they moved to the Lake of the Pines and then to Midland in 1998. She enjoyed arts and crafts, ceramics, loved to cook, and had been very active in her church when she was able. Her best memories are of when her grandkids came to spend the summer with her. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Midland.

Lottie is survived by her 4 children, Mike Conrad and wife, Patty, of Midland, Vicki Moore and husband, Buttons, of Andrews, Cheri Hill and husband, Richard, of Midland, and Ginni Finley and husband, Glen, of Andrews; 1 brother, Donald Dyar of Hallsville, Texas; 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.

Lottie was preceded in death by her husband on October 3, 2010; her parents; 4 siblings, Nancy Barnard, Francis Carpenter, Jack Dyar, and Tommy Dyar; and grandson, Dustin Max Hathcock.
