Maurilio "Mike" Hernandez, 53, of Andrews passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at his home in Andrews. A rosary will be 7:00 PM Sunday at McNett Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday at Our lady Of Lourdes Catholic Church in Andrews. Burial will be in Andrews North Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.

Mike was born January 9, 1962 in Vado de Piedra, Mexico to Liovijildo Anaya and Anastasia Hernandez. He moved to Andrews in 1972 from Lovington, NM. He married Maribel Hernandez of April 24, 1984 in Andrews. He worked as a shop supervisor for R& H Rentals. He loved to garden and spend time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed trips to the lake and riding on the boat with his family. He loved sports; Basketball and softball were two of his favorites. And he always listened to the Andrews Mustang Baseball games on the radio. Mike also loved to read western novels and watch westerns on TV. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Blanca Nievis Hernandez. He is survived by his wife, Maribel Hernandez of Andrews; sons. Eddie Bejarano Hernandez and wife Areli of Odessa; Jaime Bejarano Hernandez and wife Jessica of Andrews; daughters, Vanessa Hernandez and husband Johnnie Balderez of Andrews; Anastasia Hernandez and husband Charley Stanley of Odessa. Brothers Manuel Hernandez of Lovington; Jorge Hernandez of Lovington; sisters Maria Gutierrez of Lovington and Ramona Rodriguez of Artesia, NM; and eight Grandchildren.www.mcnettfuneralhome.com
