Bahola Valenzuela, 68, of La Puente, California, passed away late Saturday, October 25, 2014 in an auto accident near Guymon, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday, November 3, 2014, at McNett Funeral Home Chapel in Andrews, Texas. Burial will be in Andrews North Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.
Mrs. Valenzuela was born September 13, 1946 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Inez and Manuela Granadas. She married Alfonso Valenzuela July 16, 1966 in Chihuahua, Mexico. They lived in La Puente, California but also spent much of the time in the summer in Imperial, Nebraska, where their son lives. She was a member of the Imperial Bible Church. She loved to sew and shop. She loved to work in her garden and travel as well. Bahola was a very friendly outgoing person and she made friends easily.
She is survived by her husband, Alfonso Valenzuela; her children, Maria Eleni Reyes and her husband Luis of Las Vegas, NV; Raul Valenzuela of Imperial, Nebraska; brothers Cruz of Mexico and Auden of Odessa; sister, Andrea Figueroa of Andrews; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. www.mcnettfuneralhome.com
