Maria Valles, 79, of Andrews passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2016 in Odessa.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at 2:00 PM Monday, January 18, 2016 at McNett Funeral Home Chapel in Andrews with Jaime Valdez, officiating. Interment will follow in the Andrews North Cemetery. Prayer services will be 7:00 PM Sunday at McNett Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM. She was born on February 21, 1936 in Durango, Mexico to Leopoldo Castillo Soto, Sr. and Juanita Nava Soto. She married Frank Marquez Valles, Sr. in 1962 in Del Rio. She moved to Andrews in 1985 from Odessa. She was a homemaker and attended Andrews Iglesia De Cristo.

She was preceded in death by her husband on December 14, 1991, her parents, 1 sister, Rosa Charo, and 2 grandchildren, Andrew and Charlie Valles.

She is survived by her 2 daughters, Bertha Emiliano of Andrews and Mary Reyes of Odessa; 4 sons, Frank Valles and Carlos Valles of Andrews, and Tony Valles and Gilbert Valles of Odessa; 4 sisters, Altagracia Navarro of Del Rio, Emma Rodriguez of Andrews, Norma Ocampo of Acuna, Mexico, and Graciela Renteria of Dallas; 4 brothers, Pablo Soto of Del Rio, Leopoldo Soto of Dallas, Jose Luis Soto of Acuna, Mexico, and Max Soto of Tyler; 16 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. www.mcnettfuneralhome.com
