Minnie Helton Williams, 71, of Andrews passed away early Thursday November 25 at Permian Residential Care Center in Andrews.
Minnie was born January 10, 1939 in Briscoe, Texas to George and Cora Helton.
She worked for J.C. Penny Company in San Angelo for seventeen years in the Jewelry Department and loved it and she enjoyed all of the people she would meet while helping them with their jewelry purchases. Minnie loved flowers and raising flowers and gardening. She moved to Andrews from San Angelo two years ago.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Monroe, John and Steve Helton and one sister, Mary Esther Helton.
She is survived by two sons, Steve Southern, and Richard Southern both of Andrews, two daughters, Karen Gregory of Midland, and Tonda Alexander of North Richland Hills, Texas, three brothers, Pat and Sam Helton both of Allison, Texas and Perry Helton of Wheeler, Texas, two sisters, Irene Snider of Spearman, Texas, and Ruth David of Clarendon, Texas, eleven grandchildren and nine great –grandchildren.
