Mrs. Mladenka, Elk Community Resident, Dies
Mrs. Francis Mladenka, 85, resident of the Elk Community for 50 years, died Saturday Jan. 11 at 10:40 a.m. in a Waco hospital.
Her husband, Louis Mladenka, was a farmer. He died in 1934.
Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 13, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Elk. Rev. John T. Geiser officiated and burial was in Pavelka Cemetery. Rosary was recited Sunday at 7:30 p.m. at Littlepage Funeral Home.
Survivors include a son, Willie Mladenka, of Elk; three daughters, Mrs. L. R. Middleton of Waco, Mrs. P. W. Pavelka of Mart and Mrs. J. A. Fridel of Tr. 4, Waco; 18 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
