Waco Tribune-Herald, 15 Dec 2003, P. B2 - Joyce Nelson Behringer, 76, of Crawford, went home to be with the Lord Sat., 13 Dec 2003. A graveside service will be 2 pm Tues., 16 Dec 2003 at China Springs Cem. Joyce was born 4 Aug 1927 to Allen & Myrtle Nelson in China Spring. She married Eddie Behringer of Valley Mills. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a bro: Howard Nelson & 2 nieces: Darlene Ewing & Debbie Nelson. Survivors: son: Steve Behringer & wife, Johnna-Crawford; bro: Dr. Allen Nelson & wife, Miriam-Grandbury; sis: Lois Smith-Waco & Jeanne Pack & husb., Pete-Speegleville; grandson, Austin Behringer-Crawford; sis-in-law: Margie Nelson-China Spring & numerous nieces & nephews.
