Ilena Jones Hubert, 89, of Andrews passed away Saturday, July 13, 2013 at her home in Andrews.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at McNett Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Allen Strambler of Mount Olive Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Andrews North Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.
Ilena was born on January 24, 1924 in Brownwood, Texas, to Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Jones.
She married Lucious Hubert on March 12, 1942 in Brownwood, Texas.
She enjoyed family and her new home, gardening, raising flowers, caring for her dog Kelee and going to garage sales. She was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Lucious Hubert, Sr.
She is survived by three sons, Lucious Hubert, Jr. of Andrews; Hiram Hubert of Andrews; Calvin Hubert of Midland; and one daughterl Lasonia Hubert of Andrews; one brother, Alfred Anderson of Kansas City, KS; one sister, Annie Mae Menefee of Andrews. She has eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
