DENVER CITY — Funeral mass for Rosa Ozuna Guzman, 84, of Denver City will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Williams Catholic Church. Burial will be in Denver City Memorial Park under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Denver City. She died Monday, Aug. 12, 2002.
She was born Aug. 8, 1918, in Rio Grande. She married Guadalupe Guzman Sr., who died in 1989. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Williams Catholic Church.
A son, Lupe, died in the 1930s. Survivors include seven sons, Juan and Lupe Jr., both of Seminole, Rudolfo of Brownfield, and Alfredo, Ruben, Ramiro and Gilbert, all of Denver City; five daughters, Dora Gonzales, Delia Guzman and Gloria Guzman, all of Denver City, Stella Flores of Plains and Janie Hernandez of Seminole; three brothers, Antonio Ozuna of Rio Grande, Eusebio Ozuna of Washington and Juan Ozuna of Beeville; three sisters, Camilla Villa of Rio Grande and Guadalupe of Ozuna and Manuela Ozuna, both of Reynosa, Mexico; 26 grandchildren; and 60 great-grandchildren.
