Maria R. Marquez, 60, of Andrews will be at 1:00 PM Sunday, November 12, 2017 at Andrews Iglesia de Cristo, 200 NW 2nd Street, in Andrews with Minister Jose C. Gomez officiating. Interment will follow in the Andrews North Cemetery. Prayer services will be at 7:00 PM Saturday at McNett Funeral Home Chapel. Please celebrate her life by visiting www.mcnettfuneralhome.com.

Maria was born on October 7, 1957 in Ojinaga, Mexico to Eusebio F. Ramos and Irene Lujan Ramos. She was raised and attended school in Ojinaga, and she moved to Andrews in 1976. She married Armando Marquez, Sr. on October 7, 1978 in Ojinaga. She had worked at Kirby West Vacuum, but spent most of her life as mother and homemaker to her family. She loved plants, roses, Elvis Presley, and the color of green, which is throughout her home. She will be remembered for her honesty and loving care towards others. She was a member of Andrews Iglesia de Cristo, and she accepted Christ in April 2011. She was preceded in death by her mother, Irene L. Ramos and sister, Rosa D. Ramos.

Maria is survived by her husband, Armando Marquez, Sr. of Andrews, 3 children, Maria Guadalupe Blanco and her husband, Sergio Sr., of Andrews, Armando Marquez, Jr. of San Antonio, and Maggie Marquez and partner, Monica Granados, of Odessa, 4 sisters, Maria A. Rodriguez and husband, Oscar, of Cuahtemoc, Mexico, Irma I. Rey and husband, Gilberto, of Andrews, Martina Ortiz and husband, Armando, of Andrews, and Veronica Blanco and husband, Miguel, of Andrews, 2 brothers, Jose E. Ramos and wife, Margaret, of Alpine and Sergio Ramos, Sr. and wife, Brenda, of Odessa, and 4 grandchildren, Sergio Blanco, Jr., Annalee Blanco, Javier Jayden Blanco, and Armando Miguel Blanco, all of Andrews.www,mcnettfuneralhome.com
