Miss Alice Brashear Marries R. L. Todd
A wedding of wide general interest here occured on February 2nd, in Hollis, Oklahoma, when Kiss Alice Brashear became the bride of Robert L. Todd.
Both bride and groom are from prominent families in this county and both were reared in the Belmena and Jones Prairie communities.
The wedding occured at 8 p.m. in the home of Rev. J. T. Moore of the First Methodist church in Hollis.
Mr. and Mrs. Brashear will make their home in Belmena after a honeymoon trip to points of interest in Oklahoma and Texas.
Mr. Todd is the son of Mr. and J. E. Todd of Belmena and the bride the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Brashear at Belmena. She has been in Shamrock for several years managre of the Western Union office there. She graduated from the high school at Rotan.
Mr. Todd is a stock farmer in this county.
