Josefa Saldana, 87, of Andrews passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 in Andrews.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 20, 2016 at McNett Funeral Home Chapel with Eddie Quevedo, officiating. Interment will follow in the Andrews North Cemetery under the personal care of McNett Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held 7:00 PM Friday, August 19, 2016 at McNett Funeral Home Chapel. Josefa was born to Juan and Simona Reyes Castillo on March 19, 1929 in Mexico. She married Santiago Saldana in April 1946 in Mexico. Josefa has been a resident of Andrews since 1984. She enjoyed her church, Apostolic Worship Center. Josefa loved to make quilts and enjoyed cooking for family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Santiago Saldana, 3 sons, Santiago Saldana Jr., Juan Saldana, and Juan Saldana and 1 daughter, Anita Saldana.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Maria Salerno and Francisca Madrilez of Andrews, and Susy Rushing of Kingsville, TX, 3 sons, Esteban Saldana, Alejo Saldana and Jesus Saldana of Andrews, 27 grandchildren, and a number of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.www.mcnettfuneralhome.com
