Mrs. Berger
Funeral services for Albertine Mace Berger, 83, were held Dec. 30 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Stanley Wright officiating. Burial followed at Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple.
Mrs. Berger died Dec. 28 in San Antonio.
She was born in Lampasas in 1907 and graduated from Lampasas High School. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Mace who was sheriff of Lampasas County for many years.
Mrs. Berger was a member of Alamo Heights Christian Church; a former elementary school teacher with the Alamo Heights School District; and was a member of the Association of University Women.
Survivors include nieces, Priscilla and Paige Watson of New York City, N.Y., and Dell Vulgan of Albuquerque, N.M.; a sister-in-law, Martha Watson of Weslaco; and cousins, Verna Jones of Lampasas and Larry and Cynthia Jones of San Antonio.
