Mola E. Moorhead, 85, of Glenpool, Okla., formerly of Denver City, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2008 in Cusco, Lima, Peru.

Graveside services will be conducted 10 a.m. Monday, June 30, 2008, in the Denver City Memorial Park with the Reverend Randy Butler officiating. Services are under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Denver City.

Mola was born November 24, 1922 in Meadow to Scott and Ivy Birdie Walker. She married D. P. Moorhead in Odessa on May 31, 1941. Mola was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Glenpool, Okla. Mola was preceded in death by her husband, D. P. Moorhead on February 2, 1994; and a daughter, Debra Moorhead.

She is survived by her son, D. Scott Moorhead and wife Jeanne of Glenpool, Okla.; a daughter, Cydney Molleur and husband Loren of Andrews; six grandchildren, Christi Lucero and husband Jim; Jason Moorhead; Tamara Marler and husband Shey; Kelli McCall and husband Chris; Cord Moorhead and wife Katie; and Brian Molleur and wife Rachel; and nine great grandchildren.

Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons, Jason Moorhead, Cord Moorhead, and Brian Molleur; and grandsons by marriage, Jim Lucero, Shey Marler and Chris McCall.
