O.B. Calder Jr. was born in Goldthwaite, Texas January 10, 1939. He and the late Betty Ann Smith were married September 13, 1958 in Denver City, Texas. O.B. was a retired Correctional Officer and attended the Bible Baptist Church in Jacksboro. He served in United States Army during the Korean War.

O.B. passed away in Fort Worth, Texas Monday, November 28, 2011 at the age of 72 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Betty Ann and 2 brothers, Wayne and Hardy Calder.

O.B. is survived today, by his son, Dywayne Calder and wife Margi of Frisco, Texas and fiancée, Stella Godbey of Jacksboro, Texas.

Funeral services for Betty Ann Calder, 67, of Jacksboro, formerly of Denver City, Texas, were con¬ducted Thursday, October 1,2009, at 2 p.m. in the Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Steve Pierson officiating. Interment fol¬lowed in the Denver City Memorial Park with services under the direc¬tion of Ratliff Funeral Home of Denver City.

Mrs. Calder passed away Monday, September 28, 2009 in Wichita Falls, Texas.

She was born January 22, 1942 in Jayton to William and Oleta Smith. She married O. B. Calder, Jr. in Denver City, Texas on September 13, 1958.

She was a homemaker. Betty Ann enjoyed volunteering at Denver City Senior Citizens. She loved animals. Betty Ann was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church of Denver City.
She is survived by her husband, O.B. Calder Jr. of Jacksboro; a son, Dywayne Calder and wife, Margi, of Frisco; and a step¬brother, Bert Sartain of Lubbock. Pallbearers were: Rodney Childress, Larry May, Gerald Segars, Bill Goodall, Nick Ford and Wayne Upton. Source: Ratliff Funeral Home.
