Louise Maples Dry, 87, of Nederland, died Tuesday, February 16, 2016. She was born on March 6, 1928, in Temple, to Dovie Davis Maples and Alvin Maples.
Survivors include her son, David Dry and his wife, Denise, of Nederland; daughter, Linda Arceneaux and her husband, Dane, of Port Acres; grandchildren, Kelly Dry, Johnathan Arceneaux, Megan Dry, and Kelsey Dry; great-grandchildren, Dakoda Dry, Ayden Dry, Kaden Stelly, Remi Dry, and Miken Davalos; and various nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, David Lee Dry; and sister, Gloria Sammons.
A gathering of Mrs. Dry’s family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, February 19, 2016, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her graveside service will be 2:30 p.m., Saturday, February 20, 2016, at Roberts Cemetery, Troy.
