Funeral services for Clifford Clark Kyzer, 71, of San Angelo were conducted on Thursday, October 26, 2006 at 1:00 pm in the Church of Christ with Brother Skip Rodgers officiating, assisted by Brother Kris Groda and Clyde Freeman. Interment followed in the Denver City Memorial Park with services under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Denver City.

Kyzer, formerly of Denver City, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2006 in San Angelo. He was born on January 13, 1935 in Sulphur Springs , TX to General Frank and Mattie Jewel Kyzer. He married Nell Thomason in Dickens TX on May 22, 1953. He worked as a pumper for Arco Oil & Gas for 35 years. He moved from Denver City to San Angelo in 2004.

He was preceded in death by a son, Larry Craig Kyzer in 1984, a brother, Ferrel Kyzer and a sister, Oline Woodard. He is survived by his wife: Nell Kyzer of San Angelo; a son: Tracy Kyzer and wife Beth Ann of Sa Angelo; two granddaughters: Seanna Hiltner and Kassie Kyzer; three great grandchildren: Hadley Hiltner, Kerstyn Hiltner and Audrie Hiltner; a sister: Jeanette Foust of Commerce TX.
Pallbearers were Chris Lee, Dennis Harrison, Jim Strickland, Joe Kay, Jeff Hagins and Rick Dickson. Source: Ratliff Funeral Home Denver City, Texas.

Elma Nell Kyzer of Midland, formerly of Denver City and San Angelo, passed away into the arms of her Lord and Savior Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011, surrounded by her loving family. She was born Dec. 30, 1937, in Spur, Texas, to Elmer and Ruth Thomason.

She married Clifford Kyzer May 22, 1953, in Spur. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Although we are grieving her passing, we take comfort that she has been reunited with her husband, Clifford, and her son, Lanny. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Rayburn Thomason.

Left to cherish her memory are her son and his wife; two granddaughters; three great-grandchildren; two sisters; a sister-in-law; and a special "son".

The family would like to thank family and friends for all the prayers, visits and well-wishes. Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Denver City Memorial Park under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home. Service will be officiated by Skip Rodgers of the Church of Christ of Denver City.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the New Mexico Children's Home in Portales, N.M.
