Obituary:
Severina De Leon, 96, died on Monday, April 30, 2018 at Mission Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Mission, Texas. She was born to Jesus Valdez and Rafaela Cantu in Mission, TX.
Severina De Leon is preceded in death by her parents; Jesus and Rafaela Valdez, her husband, Ruben De Leon Sr., her daughters; Yolanda Salinas and Mary “Amparo” De Leon.
Left to cherish her memory are her children; Velma (Santos) Gonzalez, Irene (Daniel) Garza, Irma (Raul) Fuentes and Ruben De Leon Jr. She will also be greatly missed by her thirteen grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and her sibling, Roberto Valdez.
Family will receive friends today Wednesday, May 02, 2018 from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary recited at 7:00 pm at Virgil Wilson Memorial Chapel in Mission, Texas. Funeral service will be on Thursday, May 30, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission, Texas.
Burial will follow to Laurel Hill Cemetery in Mission, Texas. You are invited to sign the online guest book at www.virgilwilsonmortuary.com. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Virgil Wilson Mortuary of Mission.
