Wife of P.C. Hartman
Nancy Priscilla "Nannie" Goates was the daughter of John William "Terry" Goats and Sarah Ann "Sally" McCutcheon Goates. She was borm March 8, 1857 in Searcy County, Arkansas and died on January 31, 1925 in Troy, Bell, Texas. She was married to Pleasant C. Hartman on September 2, 1877 in Belton, Bell, Texas. They had five children:

Francis Elizabeth Hartman Payne
Ida Hartman Slovak
Mary Ethel Hartman Hill
Lena Rivers Hartman Hooser
After Pleasant C. Hartman died, she remarried to A. L. Bow on December 17, 1894 in Troy, Bell, Texas. They had one child:
