Melba Johnson Leslie passed away peacefully Sunday, May 4, 2008.
Funeral: Requiem Eucharist will be at 10 a.m. Friday at All Saints Episcopal Church, 5001 Crestline Road. Graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. in Hillcrest Cemetery, Temple. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Melba Johnson Leslie was born Nov. 26, 1913, in Temple. She was 94 years young.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents; brother; husband, James N. Leslie; and stepchildren, James N. Leslie Jr. and John Edward Leslie.
Survivors: Stepsister, Mary E. Davis and family; nieces, Judy Johnson Watkins and family and Barbara Johnson Shaw and family; nephew, James Johnson and family; stepchildren, Francis Leslie and family, Robert Leslie and family, and Ann Leslie MacDonald and family; and many, many friends.
