EDWARDS
Services for Jim Edwards, 62, of Maybank and formerly of Cameron were at 2 p. m. Thursday at the Marek - Burns - Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron with Rev. Jim McPhail officiating.
Burial with masonic services was in Oak Hill Cemetery in Cameron.
Mr. Edwards died in a Kaufman hospital Monday night after a short illness.
Born at Stephenville, Mr. Edwards was a veteran of World War II. He was a retired service station operator and a member of the San Andres Masonic Lodge No. 170 of Cameron.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Edna Earle Edwards of Maybank; three sons, James Earl Edwards of Duncanville, David Edwards of Irving and Joey Edwards of Waco; a daughter, Mrs. Darla Boothe of Irving; a sister, Mrs. Lillian McAltin of Little Rock, Ark.; and six grandchildren.
