MRS. JOSEPHINE EDWARDS IS BURIED HERE MONDAY

Funeral services for Mrs. Josephine Edwards, 69, were held Monday afternoon from the Phillips & Luckey funeral home, with Rev. H. E. Crone of the Christian church officiating. He was assisted by Rev. Ramsey of the Methodist church. Interment was made in the family plot at the I. O. O. F. Cemetery.
Mrs. Edwards had been a victim of paralysis for two years and for the past several month had been in a critical condition. She passed away Sunday afternoon at her home in Temple. The body accompanied by relatives, was later brought to Rockdale where it rested at the funeral home.
Although a native of Mississippi, deceased had lived in Milam county for nearly fifth years and she with her only daughter, Bertha, had lived in Rockdale for many years before going to Temple about twenty years ago. She was a member since childhood of the Christian church.
Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Bertha Todd of Temple; two sisters, Mrs. P. E. Luckey and Mrs. B. J. Reed, of Rockdale; one brother, R. S. Carter, of Corpus Christi; a grand daughter, Helen Todd, of Temple; and a number of nephews and nieces.
The pall bearers were her nephews, Dorrell Luckey, Harold Luckey, Edward Luckey, Homer Reed, Maurice Reed, and friend W. B. Shaw.

ROCKDALE, Dec. 22. - Funeral services for Mrs. Josephine Edwards, 69, who died at her home in Temple, were held here with the Rev. H. E. Crone, assisted by the Rev. Ramsey, officiating. Burial was in the I. O. O. F. cemetery.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Bertha Todd pf Temple; two sisters, Mrs. P. E. Luckey and Mrs. B. J. Reed of Rockdale; one brother, R. S. Carter of Corpus Christi.
