J. R. WALLACE, PIONEER BURIED AT YARRELTON

J. R. Wallace, aged 56, a native of Milam County, died suddenly at the family residence Friday afternoon at ?. Funeral services were held at the Baptist church at Yarrelton, Saturday afternoon, E. S. Hutcherson of the Baptist church here conducting the services. Interment was made at North Elm Cemetery.
Surviving the deceased are: his wife, Mrs. Nannie Wallace, two daughter, Miss Verna Wallace and Mrs. Otia Knipp and one son, Leslie Wallace. He also leaves a brother and sister, Bebe Wallace, Austin; and Mrs. Mary Smith, Lampassas and a granddaughter, Thelma Mae Griffin who made her home with Mr. and Mrs. Wallace.
Mr. Wallace was born at Port Sullivan but had lived at Yarrelton for more than fifty years. He had been a member of the Baptist church since 1893.
