HIGGINS - Betty Ann Newcomer ARNOLD, 79, formerly of Amarillo, died Thursday, Feb. 12, 2004, in Evanston, Ill.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Higgins Cemetery with the Rev. Nancy Moore, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Stickley-Hill Funeral Directors of Canadian.
Mrs. ARNOLD was born April 18, 1924, on the Newcomer Ranch near Higgins, to Charles G. and Charlotte NEWCOMER. She moved to Colorado Springs, Colo., from Amarillo in 1962, where she lived until 2002.
She was preceded in death by a sister; and a son, Charles P. ARNOLD.
Survivors include a son, Frank M. ARNOLD and wife, Diann, of Phoenix; a daughter, Ann Arnold PEARCE and husband, William, of Wilmette, Ill.; her grandchildren, Charles D. and Lindsay ARNOLD, William III and Jennifer PEARCE, Charles G. and Sarah PEARCE, Ann Elizabeth PEARCE and Charlotte PEARCE.
