OBITUARY

TO THE CAMERON HERALD:
Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Ford passed peacefully away March 17th, 1901, after a long and painful illness. She had been sick in bed six months. We learn she was perfectly resigned to her suffering and ever gave evidence of her relation with her Lord and Master, and even in the end was ready and willing to die. Sister Ford was interred in Elm Creek cemetery, attended by a large concourse of relatives and friends, and while Rev. W. H. Jackson was officiating in this sad event there was shown an evidence of great love and respect for the deceased. Sister Ford leaves a husband and twelve children to mourn their loss. But thanks be to God, their loss is her eternal gain.
We sympathize very much with Bro. Ford and the children, but we point them to Christ who is able to heal every broken heart and is able to save to the uttermost. God bless the bereaved husband and motherless children, and may each one, like the wife and mother, be ready when God shall call them to meet Him in peace.
W. H. Jackson
