R. A. TRIGGS DIES; SERVICES TODAY FOR RETIRED MERCHANT

R. A. Triggs, 85, died in a local hospital at 3:30 p. m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be today (Thursday) at 2 p. m. in the Marek-Burns Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Freeman and Rev. Billy Triggs officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Triggs was born December 23, 1881 in Roundrock. He was a retired merchant and had lived in Cameron most of his life. He was a member of the First Methodist Church.
He is survived by two sons, R. A. Triggs, Jr. of Lubbock and George W. Triggs of Sharp; one brother, Alex Triggs of Tyler; one sister, Mrs. Howard Baskins of Cameron; two grandchildren, Richard Albert Triggs III and Gloria O'Neill; and seven great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be R. B. Mayes, Nelson Davis, Richard Triggs, Jimmy O'Neill, A. J. Triggs, Bill Baskin, Hilliard Thomas, Tommy Triggs, Charles Bailey and W. C. Wallace.
