Daughter of William E. and Anna (Bennet) BROWN.
Mary Etta BROWN was a young school teacher before she married William Henry PARKER on May 27, 1890 in Ohio. They left for Texas immediately and settled in Lipscomb, Texas.
Mrs. PARKER became Postmaster of Lipscomb after her husband's death. Mrs. PARKER was famous a cook and had often kept boarders the many years she lived in Lipscomb. She died November 17, 1956, at the age of 87 years.
