Louise Bray Porter, 99, of Texarkana, Texas, died Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Porter was born January 26, 1916, in Bivins Texas.
She was a retired bookkeeper from Collins & Williams Men’s Clothing Store when it was located in downtown Texarkana. She had also been a member of First United Methodist Church, Texas, and a member of the McDuffie Bible class.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norris O. Porter, her parents, four brothers, and a sister. Survivors included her sister-in-law, Pat Bray, of Fall River, MA; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Bro. Kevin Holt officiating.
