Clarence S. Mitchell, 94, of Spearman passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2016. Family visitation will be on Wednesday, June 15, 2016, from 6:00pm – 8:00pm at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at 10:00a.m., at Hansford Cemetery in Spearman with Rev. John Scott officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman.
Clarence was born on September 11, 1921 to Harvey and Ruby Theo Mitchell in Trinidad, Colorado.
He served in the Army Air Corp. Clarence was a Fire Chief of Spearman Fire Department. He was a ambulance driver, custom cutter, farmer and rancher. Clarence was a very loving person.
He is preceded in death by his parents and wife Lula Mitchell, also brothers and sisters.
Clarence is survived by grandson Tommy and wife, Lena Loveday of North Port, FL, granddaughter, Jo Kincaid of Pu eblo, CO. He is also survived by three, great-grand-daughters, Heather and Rusty Brackett, Brandy Kunckey and Kati Kincaid.
