Jewel Fay Allen, 75, of Kyle died Sept. 5, 1990. Graveside services were held Friday, Sept. 7, at East Lawn Cemetery in Brownwood.
Mrs. Allen was born March 18, 1915, in Hamilton County to William and Viola [Elizabeth] Glover Hurley. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Bruce Allen, and her twin brother, Buel Ray Hurley.
Survivors include two daughters, Jackie Craig and Kay Cox; one brother, J.D. Hurley of California; and one sister, DeAlva Newton of Arizona; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren
