Services for Sybil Hensley, 88, of Haskell will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church with Byron Garrison of Canyon officiating.
Burial will be in Guthrie Cemetery under the direction of Seigler Funeral Home of Paducah.
She died Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2000, at her residence.
She was born Feb. 7, 1912, in Jayton. She moved to Guthrie at an early age and resided there until moving to Slaton 13 years ago. She had been a resident of Haskell for the past six months.
She married Fred Harvie Hensley on Dec. 31, 1936, in Seminole. She served as King County Clerk from 1948 until 1976. She had also operated an abstract office in King County and she and her husband operated a cafe and service station for about 10 years. She was a member of the Baptist church.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Oct. 10, 1972, and two grandchildren, Von Criswell and Debra Moorehouse.
Survivors include a daughter, Kay Criswell of Guthrie; her stepmother, Cleone York of Magazine, Ark.; a half-brother, Tommy York of Magazine, Ark.; a half-sister, Winston Johnson of Magazine, Ark.; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
