ROCKDALE, Aug. 26 - (Spl) - Funeral services were held here Monday for Mrs. Emma Ruth Havens, 73, from Phillips and Luckey Funeral chapel with the Rev. Bailey of the Pentacostal Baptist church officiating. Burial was made in the family burial ground at Harmony church south of Rockdale. Mrs. Havens died from an attack of the heart Sunday. She had been a resident of this section of Milam county for the pat 25 years, coming from har native home, Trinity. Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Ethel Simmons, Mrs. T. C. Stephens, Mrs. Mildred Moore and Joe Denham all of Rockdale; George Denham of Arkansas, Mrs. Nell Westbrrok of Damon and two brothers, George Evans of Trinity and William Evans of Kennedy. There are a number of grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
